From those animated conversations of those days

to the desperate attempts of these days

to keep the chord from breaking

how well are we traversing life among us

How we speak in familiar words

of whats left unsaid

of unspoken intimacies woven into

aimless chatter

professional banter

How we leave the blank spaces

for we dare not the possibilities

How we take the destined path

for we know the disparities

These conversations too

will become sparse with time

but what will remain is the thought ,

the unspoken and

the never to be spoken
